Spartanburg vs Wren

Summary: Game 1 of the Fluor Field doubleheader was a back and forth affair for much of the game. Spartanburg would strike for 2 in the first. Wren would answer back with two of their own. The teams would trade runs until the 5th inning. With a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the 5th, Spartanburg would give up 7 runs in the bottom capped off by a Kaleb Jowers triple to score 2 runs and put the game out of reach. Wren would hold on to win 11-6 in a game full of hits and free bases.
