A big arm matchup was present for this game with Clemson commit Dion Brown facing Wake Forest commit Carson Bolemon. Both arms would pitch well enough to give their team a chance. However Sotushdie would come out on top due to some costly errors for Lewisville and timely hitting. Southside Christian would get on the board early with a run in the 2nd and then add 3 in the 3rd capped by a 2R HR from Sentelle. Lewisville fell behind 5-0 but would get 3 in the 5th to make it interesting led by a Brown 2RBI hit. The Sabres get one in the 6th and that would be it as Bolemon would go back out and continue his stellar day on the bump.
