SAN ANTONIO - Game 2 of the Lake Travis and Smithson Valley series was held on the newly turfed field on campus at The University of the Incarnate Word. After taking a 9-1 victory the night before, Lake Travis looked to make a dominating sweep, but ran into a highly resilient Smithson Valley defense and a pair of gutsy arms that held the powerhouse lineup in check. A lone unearned run from the first inning ended up making the difference in the game, but the game was filled with drama, emotion, and impressive performances.
