SAN ANTONIO - As the regular season came to a close, it was evident that there was a tightly congested knot surrounding 4th place in the 27-6A district, leaving 4 teams to fight for a the final position of a playoff spot. The MacArthur Brahmas and Churchill Chargers met on Friday night to duke it out for a change to play in the eventual tie-breaker. Both teams were heavily spent on arms, having played two games in the week already, and knowing that at least two more games awaited on their immediate horizon should they be able to secure a victory on the night. MacArthur got out to a commanding lead of 5-1 after a 5-run 2nd inning and would maintain control for the remainder of the game, eventually sealing up an 11-4 victory.
