2025 Future Games Tryouts: Austin (Invite-Only)

Player and Parent,

You are cordially invited to attend the Prep Baseball Texas's Future Games Tryout meant for 2027 graduates. This event has a dual function. The function of the event is to identify talented players to represent Team Texas at the 2025 PBR Future Games. Players will go through a pro-style workout, followed by simulated gameplay. Pitchers will be evaluated & videoed during the game.

As the preeminent scouting service across our 40+ state coverage area, the Prep Baseball Report is looking to identify promising young prospects at an earlier age so we can more accurately track their progress through their career.

We will select players for Team Texas for the Future Games from this event. The Future Games features the top uncommitted incoming high school juniors players from across the Prep Baseball Report’s 40+ state coverage area. It is one of the most highly recruited events of the summer and attracts more than 350 college coaches from across the country each year.

The Future Games will take place at Lake Point in Cartersville, GA. This state-of-the-art facility features 8 all-turf fields. The event features guaranteed pool play games and will include single elimination bracket play to determine a champion in each age group.

ITINERARY 

Registered Infielders, Outfielders, and/or Catchers

• Running Times (laser-timed 60-yard dash)

• Offensive Evaluations

  • Mechanical evaluation

  • Live batting practice

  • TrackMan ball flight analysis

  • Blast Motion swing analysis

• Defensive Evaluations

  • Arm strength

  • Agility/range

  • Positional analysis/profile

LIVE GAMEPLAY

• Pitching Evaluations

  • POs will face 5 live batters, 2-ways will face a minimum of 3 live batters

  • Mechanical evaluation

  • TrackMan pitch velocity, movement, spin analysis

• Catcher Evaluations (while receiving bullpen)

  • Receiving/pitch presentation

  • Blocking/mobility

REFUND POLICY

The Prep Baseball Report refund policy is that of a transfer nature. Prep Baseball Report will permit the transfer of your payment to another Prep Baseball Report event that may be used during the following year of scheduled events. Again, registration fees are of a transfer nature and will not be refunded. If an event is cancelled due to weather, players will be issued a full credit to a future event.
