CA RANKINGS UPDATE: CLASS OF 2024

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - As the High School baseball season is fully underway here in California, it is time for a look at our updated high school Player Rankings for the class of 2024. The #1 spot is once again held by Bryce Rainer (Harvard Westlake HS) who has shown elite talent with the bat this season since the decision was made to not pitch. Playing third base, the left handed hitter has shown more power this season along with a knack for getting the clutch hit. When pitching, Rainer sits 92-94 with the fastball that is complemented by above average secondary pitches. 

The rest of the Top 10 remains the same with the exception of a new entrant in the No. 9 spot. At No. 2 is Derek Curiel (OLu); No. 3 Dylan Fien (Great Oak), No. 4 Tatum Marsh (Valley Christian), and No. 5 is TP Wentworth (Central Catholic). Checking in at the No. 9 spot is Ethan Schiefelbein (Corona) up from the No. 16 spot. 

With the expansion of the rankings to 175, we welcome 32 new players to the class rankings. 

Along with newcomers there are plenty of risers in the rankings. Some of the most significant risers are No. 21 Julian Areliz (Sierra Canyon), No. 24 Levi Sterling, No. 27 Andrew Johnson, and No. 28 Brock Thompson.
