CA State Games: Statistical Analysis

LATHROP, CALIF. - The 2020 California State Games hosted 125 players from across the state at beautiful Islanders Field where players went through a pro-style
Players were put through a standard pro-style workout that included the 60-yard sprint, round of batting practice, defensive workouts at respective positions while pitchers statistics were complied from live game action.
We posted recaps of Day One, Day Two, and Day Three from the event recently and will begin to roll out much more content in the coming days/weeks. However, before we get into that, here is a look at the raw stats/data from the ID event.
STAT LEADERS
60-yd dash
From a base-stealing start position (hand-held start and laser stop)
Exit Velocity
These numbers are a representation of what they players did in both the cage EV session (from front toss) and from live BP (TrackMan recorded)
Infield Velocity (MIF/3B/1B)
Each throwing from their primary position, velocities gathered with Stalker Sport II
Outfield Velocity
Making throws from RF to 3B and Home
Catcher Velocity
Popping from the crouch position, Stalker II set on out-bound from behind catcher
Pop Times
Each made 4-5 throws down to 2nd base
Max FB Velocity
Gathered using Trackman during the live game portion of the event
