Our weekly Diamond Notes highlights notable players that were nominated by their coaches for Northern California Player of the Week award for the week of March 9 - March 14th. Though not selected as the Player of the Week, they earned this special recognition.

2022 RHP Anthony Deldago - Kerman HS - Uncommitted; 6-foot-0 155-pound sophomore went 6 IP (2 H, 3 BB, 5 K) vs Washington Union HS. He has had a great start to the year, only allowing 3 earned runs in 18.2 IP (12 H, 17 K). ERA is 1.13 for the season.

2020 RHP Nolan Dunkle - Justin-Siena HS - Uncommitted; vs St. Helena HS - CG, 2 H, 3 BB, 9 K, fielded two chances flawlessly; at the plate 2-for-4 (R, RBI). Dunkle outdueled 2019 Napa County Pitcher of the Year Stacy Nelson (2021) as he took a no-hitter into the 5th inning.

2020 RHP/1B Gage Eastlick - Whitney HS - Uncommitted; A talented pitcher/hitter (L/R), he threw a complete game on Monday 3/9 vs Woodcreek HS. Final line; 7 IP, BB, 5 H, R, 7 K and for good measure he went 1-for-3 with a double at the plate.

2020 LHP Hayden Hattenbach - San Rafael HS - Uncommitted (as of this posting); An invite to last summer's Area Code tryouts, he threw a no-hitter vs Branson HS on 3/11/20 as the Bulldogs won 4-0. He struck out 13 and was also 1-for-3 at the plate w/an RBI.

2020 LHP Parker Renteria - Fowler HS - Uncommitted; Had a great week on the mound.
In two games he threw a total of 10 IP, 0 ER, 20 K, gave up 3 hits (all singles) vs. two quality teams Madera South and Sanger HS.

2020 OF Bryce Tweedt - Red Bluff HS - U of Nevada signee; Team went 3-1 in tourney action and for his part he was 6-for-10 (HR, 3B, 2B, 2 BB, 8 RBI, 7 R), certainly a week worth of Player of the Week.
