NORTHERN CALIFORNIA - In a few weeks, sometime after the PreSeason All-State events, we will release updated rankings of all four present high school grad class, 2021-2024. As always, there will be a lot of attention on them and certain status assigned to those in the rankings. That's all fine and well, but in a state such as California, there isn't enough room in a ranking, of almost any size, for all the talented players with futures in college baseball and someday, perhaps beyond.

These 12 players from Northern California are some of 2023s who may have been in the final ranking for their class and others who very well could enter the updated rankings.
