On Sunday, May 18th, the PB California staff traveled to Mater Dei HS in Santa Ana, CA, to host the SoCal Rising Stars Game, an invite-only event for the class of 2029-2030.
More than 20 players made their way to Santa Ana and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball California staff.
Today, we'll take a look at all of the postional scouting reports from the event:
POSITIONAL Analysis (LISTED ALPHABETICALLY)
Ace Aguilar, Bonita High (CA), 2029
Positional Profile: SS/2B Shows pull-side power as a hitter with strong fundamental instincts at the INF/OF position.
Body: 5-9, 162.9 pounds. Lean, athletic build.

Positional Profile: C/OF Hitter's swing benefits from line drive power, with many areas of improvement behind the dish.

Hit: RHH. Tall, balanced stance with sturdiness in lower body. Hands stay behind head with small bat waggle angled towards 1st base dugout. Slow, medium leg kick. Positional Profile: C/OF Very strong defender behind the plate with areas of improvement as a consistent hitter.
