With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2020 State Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2020 class. By position, we will comb through the list, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with middle infielders.

The updated rankings features a total of 11 southpaws in the top 170 and 4 in the top 25 including Mississippi State recruit No. 5 Dylan Carmouche (University HS), Hinds CC recruit No. 14 Gage Bihm (Opelousas Catholic HS), Louisiana-Lafayette recruit No 17 Chipper Menard (New Iberia HS) and Tulane recruit No 21. Brian Valigosky (Jesuit HS). There are current'y 9 left-handers committed from Louisiana's 2020 class including five Division 1 signees.
