With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2020 State Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2020 class. By position, we will comb through the list, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with middle infielders.

The updated rankings features a total of 35 middle infielders in the top 170 and 20 in the top 100. There are current'y 14 middle infielders committed from Louisiana's 2020 class including the Baylor recruit and the No. 1 overall player in the state Blake Shapen.
