With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2025 Spring Team Preview: Colerain Cardinals

Team Name: Colerain Cardinals
Head Coach: Tom Taulbee
Division: I
2024 Record: 8-18
2024 Tourney Finish: Sectional Semifinals loss to Hamilton
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3

Coach Outlook: "This year we return 11 players with varsity experience. Last year we lost 12 games by 1 or 2 runs. This year we look to replace 2 All GMC pitchers/players from last year. With the experience and flexibility of this year's roster, we look to improve offensively while maintaining a strong pitching staff and defensive line up. This team will compete game in and game out. If we continue to improve offensively, we can have a very successful 2025 season."
