With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2025 Spring Team Preview: Kalida Wildcats

Team Name: Kalida Wildcats
Head Coach: Chad Ehrnsberger

2024 Record: 8-17
2024 Tourney Finish: Sectionals loss
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 9/8

Coach Outlook: "We have a lot of talent coming back, as we only graduated one senior. Consistency will be key. There were games last season that we looked like state contenders, and other games where it looked like we've never played baseball before. That happens when you have an extremely young team like we had. Hopefully the experience we gained last season, and making it to the ACME State Tournament in the summer, will propel this year's team to play at a championship level every time we step on the field."
