With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. 2025 Spring Team Preview: Massillon Jackson Polar Bears

Team Name: Massillon Jackson Polar Bears

2024 Record: 22-9
2024 Tourney Finish: Regional Semifinals loss to North Canton Hoover
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/7

Coach Outlook: "The Jackson Polar Bears return a very seasoned pitching staff. The Polar Bears return 77% of their innings & 20 of their 22 wins on the mound. The Bears will be led by Landen Doll (4-1), Landon Thiel (7-1) & Jeffrey Oister (6-1) along with Stephen Hall, Matt Blaine & Cole Baker (3 Sv) in the 2025 class. Adding in a couple of talented underclassmen in Clayton Macaluso & Kenyon Oakes in the 26 class; along with Niko Bacopoulos & Brody Folk in the 27 class. The offense will rely on veterans: Dylan Lahr (1st Team All Fed, signed Tri C), Derak Staudt (signed Mercyhurst U), Layne Keller (signed Malone U) & Hayden Dietz as well as a host of returning lettermen. The 2025 Polar Bears will rely on a deep pitching staff as they navigate a demanding non-league schedule & a very competitive Federal League."
