After finishing the 2013 season with a record of 22-5, coach Chris Kaczmar and the Walsh Jesuit baseball program looked poised for a superior 2014 and figure to be contenders for the Division II state title.

Expectations are high this year for the four-time state champions. Kaczmar anticipates improvements from his players in every facet of the game and hopes to see the same strides as the season progresses.

“(I expect) to enjoy every moment with this group of young men that we have and want to make it a memorable experience,” Kaczmar said.
