Each week, we’ll deliver scouting insights and player write-ups to get a better understanding of the great talent that surrounds us. In this region, the grind is real, the ceilings are high, and the buzz is just getting started.

Week of 10/13/25

Jamari Whitley RHP / 3B / Schalick, NJ / 2027

One of the Garden State’s twitchiest and wiry movers off the mound. He maximizes his entire 5 ‘10 and 165-pound frame and produces fastballs up to 90 mph. Whitley works from a slow and controlled leg lift and then explodes down the mound and attacks the strike zone. On top of his 90-mph fastball, he also has a curveball that he spins up to 2800 rpm consistently for strikes and whiffs. Whitley has extremely high upside as he continues to fill out his frame.

Connor McNally 3B / OF / Ramsey, NJ / 2027

The number 1 ranked third baseman in the Garden State is a physical beast. McNally boasts a 6 ‘1 and 200-pound frame that produces very impressive metrics on both sides of the baseball. With the bat he produced a max exit velocity of 99.1 mph and peaked at a max distance of 366 feet. Defensively his arm strength is above average from the outfield and infield with throws up to 90 mph from both positions. McNally is an all-around ball player to keep an eye on for next high school season.

Colton Manning OF / RHP / Great Valley, PA / 2027

Manning was a top performer for Team Select this summer at the Prep Baseball Future Games. The 6 ‘2 and 181-pound outfielder had multiple difficult at-bats against left-handed pitchers and ended up winning these matchups with 100 mph exit velocity base-hits. On top of his in-game success Manning has also produced impressive metrics like a 6.98 sixty-yard dash and a max distance of 367 feet in batting practice. One of the sweetest left-handed swings in the Keystone State is still available.

Tyler Tindall RHP / SS / Pope John Paul II, PA / 2027

One of the most intriguing uncommitted arm talents in the entire Keystone State. Tindall’s pitching arsenal consists of a fastball up to 89 mph, a curveball that sits 71-73 mph and is spun up to 2690 rpm, and a changeup 79-80 mph that he can throw to all batters in any count. He has confidence in all three of his pitches to create weak contact against any hitter. The 6 ‘0 and 169-pound right hander have a high-upside frame with room for growth that will be fun to monitor.

Linus Frederick RHP / 2B / Northport, NY / 2026

Electric uncommitted righty up to 91 MPH with the fastball and a high-spin, swing-and-miss breaker. Won’t be uncommitted for long.

Blake Stepniak RHP / St. Francis, NY / 2027

Shows good tempo and an athletic operation with a fast arm. The fastball features plus spin characteristics with ride up in the zone and arm-side run, creating a difficult look for hitters.
