On a swing through the Northeast, The Rode Show featured LHP Brandon Neeck (Horace-Greeley HS, NY), RHP Lenny Torres (Beacon HS, NY) and OF Nick Decker (Seneca HS, NJ) last week. Neeck had a strong outing, sitting 89-91 mph, touching 93, and flashing a slider with sharp bite at 80-81. Torres battled his control, nearly doubling his walk total for the season, but still showed his electric fastball. Pitchers are avoiding Decker, with good reason, but he took advantage of pitches when he got them on Saturday, going 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored.
