The PBR Evaluation & Measurables Showcase took place October 7th at Keystone State Baseball Academy. Today we conclude a series of articles analyzing the prospects in attendance with a look at a pair of prospects from the Class of 2022.

Class of 2022 Prospects

Patrick Yost, C/3B, Danville Area HS (PA)
6-foot-3, 195-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance & utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a strong lower half and the ability to create backspin during a very solid round of batting practice. Registered an 83 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Showcased above average arm strength behind the plate (77 mph) with solid carry. Current pop times of 2.07-2.15 will continue to drop as Yost works to refine his catch and throw mechanics. Physical, athletic frame with a well rounded skill set makes Yost a high follow in this class moving forward.

Luke Zeisloft, OF/2B, Central Columbia HS (PA)
5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a knee-to-knee stride to initiate his swing. Showcased solid lower half actions with an above average feel for the barrel. Displayed a middle of the field approach with a bat exit velocity of 82 mph. Played through the baseball consistently with accurate 73 mph arm strength from the outfield and ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Also displayed capable actions in the infield with a long arm throwing motion. Athletic frame has room to add strength in the coming years. Zeisloft's offensive abilities make him an interesting follow in this class.
