Coming soon will be the first edition of the 2020 Overall Rankings. In this week’s Hotlist, you can whet your appetite by reading up on the top freshmen in the country. Most of the prospects below will be in the initial top 50 and certainly warrant a close following as they begin their high school careers.

Jake Berry, LHP, Bishop O'Connell HS, VA
Berry already stands at 6-foot-7, 200 pounds. He typically sits 82-85 mph, but has revved his fastball up to 87 at times. He pitches with a simple delivery and fluid tempo, landing slightly closed with a quiet finish. He has a clean arm action through a high-3/4 slot. A Virginia recruit, he pitches with little effort and has an extremely projectable frame.
