Thursday night Nansemond River visited Hickory for a Power 25 showdown. Nansemond River jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first and would not look back. Junior left hander Ayden Stuffel would allow only one hit and one unearned run in four innings on the mound. Stuffel struck out nine over the course of his outing and would get the win as the Nansemond River Warriors rolled to a 8-1 victory over the Hickory Hawks.
