One of the top available juniors in Illinois came off the board this week, as RHP Austin Marozas (Plainfield South HS, IL) verbally committed to Mississippi State Wednesday. Marozas blew up late this summer and fall, sitting 88-89 mph and touching 90 with heavy run and sink. He also flashed good offspeed offerings. The 6-foot-7, 210-pounder had interest from some of the country’s top programs before he settled on the Bulldogs.
