EVENT HISTORY
This is our first year hosting this event, and, like our other events, it will give us a glimpse of prominent players who will later receive invitations to select events, such as the PBR Future Games. We’re excited to follow the next generation of talent from this event as they gain next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
2025 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely.
3B/RHP Sam Abrahamson (Hudson, 2026; University of St. Thomas) is ranked 14th in the state for the class of 2026 and was a participant in the Future Games. Abrahamson is a projectable, strong, and athletic 5-foot-11, 178-pound frame. At the plate, he swings a hard RH bat with impressive bat speed of 84.5 mph and an exit velocity of 101 mph, with a natural and easy look in the field. He is one of the top prospects in Wisconsin, and we can’t wait to see his performance at this year’s event.
LHP/OF Bron Schaefer (Kaukauna, 2026; Appalachian State) is ranked 26th in the state for the class of 2026 and was a participant in the Future Games. He has an athletic and projectable 6-foot-1, 169-pound frame. On the mound, the lefty throws an 86 mph fastball with a spin rate of 2,376 rpm. He complements this with a sharp curveball, sweeping slider, and deceptive changeup. Schaefer has an up-tempo, balanced delivery with a quick arm. Schaefer oozes projection and will have high expectations at this year’s event.
SS/RHP Jace Mataczynski (Hudson, 2026) is ranked 27th in the state for the class of 2026. He has a projectable and lengthy 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame with long levers. With an exit velocity of 97 mph, he demonstrates strength and makes hard contact at the plate. In the field, he plays with quickness, displaying clean and consistent hands while throwing across the field at 92 mph. On the mound, he boasts a high octane arsenal, including a fastball that reaches 89 mph, along with a curveball, slider, and changeup. Mataczynski continues to improve every time we see him, and we can't wait to see how he'll impress us at this year’s event.
Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a lot of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
