Several players narrowly missed out on this week’s Porsche Exchange Player of the Week Award, won by Lincoln-Way West’s Trevor Dallio thank to his no-hitter and perfect game. Here’s a quick brain dump on hot prospects within the last week and those making a name for themselves in the scouting community.

+ Alton junior righthander Nick Cauley was 78-80 mph one year ago, but the quick armed reliever has benefited from the scouting attention southpaw Bryan Hudson has received from professional scouts. Cauley has reportedly sat in the upper 80’s in several outings, touching as high as 91 mph.
