Updated 2016 rankings are right around the corner for the State of Illinois. With that in mind and our recent Illinois Unsigned Senior Showcase taking place on October 11^th we take a look at some of the top speedsters still on the market in Illinois. Nolan Gazouski (Rockford Christian) is a 6-foot-6 two-way player that headlines the list. Extremely interesting prospect due to his frame, ability to run, arm strength and he is also a left-handed hitter. Everyone on the list below runs better than a 6.9 60.

6-foot-6, 185-pound, lanky build with athleticism, two-way player. Ran a 6.78 60-time. Hits from the left-side, slightly open set up, short stride, lower half works. Good bat speed, long bat path, 95 mph exit velocity. Defensively showed average hands, fluid footwork, loose arm action, ¾ slot, 88 mph from the OF, 80 mph from the IF. On the mound displayed a tall-and-fall delivery, high ¾ arm slot, short arm action, lands closed. Fastball showed arm-side-run, sat  84-86 mph. Sider had 10/4 shape, 74-77 mph. Curveball sat 72-74 mph.
