Five teams came together from Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana this past weekend for the second annual Prep Baseball Report Labor Day Challenge. Saturday’s games were played at Curtis Granderson Stadium on the campus of UIC, while Sunday’s games moved to Chicago State. The Indiana Outlaws took home the title with a 3-1 overall record, while Southern Illinois also finished 3-1, losing the head-to-head tie breaker to the Outlaws. Several players stood out and today we will take a look at revelations and risers: players who were new to the eyes of the Prep Baseball Report scouting staff, and players who improved their stock thanks to their performances.
