Players making verbal commitments as freshmen isn’t a new a trend and Wisconsin is no exception. Six of the top 10 2018s are already committed and now the first 2019 is off the board. C Nate Stevens (Waunakee HS, WI), an athletic, left-handed hitter, made his pledge to Arkansas. He has high upside with good barrel awareness. Arkansas also picked up a commitment from 2018 LHP Caden Monke (Mount Olive HS, IL), the No. 15 sophomore in the state.
