+ The first Illinois 2017 prospect is off the board. RHP Ryan Kutt (Brother Rice HS, IL), who’s the No. 1-ranked prospect in Illinois’ 2017 class, verbally committed to Illinois on Sunday. Kutt showed exceptionally well at the PBR Future Games in August, displaying a polished three-pitch mix headed by a sharp 77-mph slider and 85-87 fastball.
