A couple of young prospects committed to strong programs recently. 2018 LHP Brandon Neeck (Horace Greeley HS, NY) verbally committed to Virginia while 2019 SS Justin Boyd chose Oregon State. Neeck is the No. 9 prospect in New York’s 2018 class and pitches in the mid 80s. He has a loose arm and shows feel for a changeup too. Boyd is the No. 6 freshman in Colorado and shows good bat speed for his age.
