On Tuesday, June 10th, the Prep Baseball Illinois team is hosted the Chicagoland Summer ID alongside the Chicagoland Rising Stars ID at Triton JC in River Grove, IL. This was an open event for 2029 and 2030 prospects. 

Below is a look at Vincent Alvarez and Khaiden Thomas, both 2029 outfielders.

Vincent Alvarez, St. Laurence (IL), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-8, 125 pounds. Lean, high-waisted frame.
Hit: LHH. Balanced setup, hangs foot into minimal stride. Loose, slightly uphill path, athletic, uses the whole field, line drive approach.
Power: 83 mph max exit velocity (75.4 avg.); 268-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 76 mph. Loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense:  Fluid mover, gets behind the baseball, plays through in rhythm, sure handed.
Athletic Testing: 7.82 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Khaiden Thomas, Kenwood Academy (IL), 2029
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-8, 134 pounds. Wide-shouldered build.
Hit: RHH. Athletic setup, simple lift/place stride. Loose hands, uphill path, loud line drive contact to all fields.
Power: 81 mph max exit velocity (72.2 avg.); 294-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 65 mph. Short arm action.
Defense:  pop time range; Attacks the ball, works around the ball, quality routes.
Athletic Testing: 7.74 runner in the 60-yard dash.
