Week of 1/12/26

Ryan McDonald C / 1B / Morris Knolls, NJ / 2027

McDonald is a power-hitting catcher and first baseman that has displayed his ability to elevate the baseball with authority. He has a strong, physical frame of 6-foot-1 and 214-pounds. During the summer Top Prospect Games, he flashed his power and athleticism with a 7.23 sixty-yard dash and a max exit velocity of 98.5 mph. At the plate he also produced a max distance of 348 feet and a bat speed of 73.6 mph. Behind the plate, he flashed a strong arm up to 77 mph and a quick pop-time of 2.03-2.16.

 

 

Brandon Wilson RHP / 1B / Jackson Memorial, NJ / 2027

The Jackson Memorial product is a 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed pitcher with present strength in his frame. This summer, Wilson flashed a three-pitch arsenal that includes a fastball peaking at 85.6 mph. His fastball typically sits 82-85 mph with a max spin rate of 2,178 rpm. He also throws a curveball at 71-72 mph and a changeup at 76-80 mph. The baseball comes out of his hand with extra hop that produces an effective velocity over 87 mph.

 

 

Keaton Barclay OF / SS / Mercersburg Academy, PA / 2027

The Mercersburg Academy product is an athletic outfielder that has an impressive toolset. Barclay has a lean and physical 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame that runs a quick 6.93 sixty-yard dash. Offensively, he produces a max exit velocity of 97.1 mph, an average exit velocity of 90.9 mph, and a max distance of 375 feet. He hits with a moderate leg lift and back hip hinge that allows him to control his forward move and efficiently transfer energy. From the outfield he has displayed a strong arm up to 86 mph. Barclay is an intriguing prospect to follow.

 

 

Collin Miller RHP / 1B / Ephrata Shs, PA / 2027

The Ephrata High School product is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. Miller is coming off an impressive sophomore campaign where he saw many innings, including some high-stake appearances against some very talented competition. He has a four-pitch mix that includes a fastball, slider, curveball, and changeup. His fastball is consistently 81-84 mph and tops at 84.5 mph. He throws his off-speed pitches with confidence and attacks the strike zone repeatedly. His curveball is 71-74 mph, the slider is 75-77 mph, and his changeup is 74-78 mph. Miller is a projectable right-hander with an intriguing 4-pitch arsenal.

 

 

Ryder Froman RHP / OF / Eastridge, NY / 2027

High-upside arm that reached 85 mph last March and continues to trend up. Fastball features high spin with +IVB up to 21", paired with feel for a developing off-speed mix.

 

 

Dominick Bonserio OF / 3B / The Harvey School, NY / 2027

Explosive athlete with a power-bat profile; features a quick move into the zone with easy bat speed and strength through contact.
