Beau Ankeney, 1B, Desert Vista HS, AZ
Ankeney has a big, strong frame at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds and the most raw power in Arizona’s 2021 class. He has continued to clean up his body and it’s showing up in his results. His exit velocity is 95 mph, as he uses his strength to generate bat speed. He starts in a neutral stance, working into his backside with a small leg kick. He has improved his footwork at first base and throws 80 across the infield.
