The big, strong right handed arm has flashed some big velocity with his fastball and solidified that at the FACA All-star game. Hutchinson worked 93-95 mph with heavy, late life. He pounded the zone, with the fastball that produced a lot of weak contact or swing and miss. He showed a slider at 80-82 and a changeup at 83-85 mph. Both off-speed offerings will need to continue to improve, but he has a feel for them and the slider has decent shape to go along with the above average fastball.
