Coral Springs, FL-In a district semi-final match-up of Coral Springs and JP Taravella, FAU recruit Max Lazar would matchup against UCF recruit Jack Sinclair. Sinclair would struggle early, giving up an RBI single to John Lombardi and a three run home run to Matt Leconte to give Coral Springs the early 4-0 lead. Sinclair would battle through the command issues to go three plus innings. He ranged from 85-90 with a fastball that had life when down in the zone. Despite the struggles, he has a clean arm action and thin projectable frame that will make him very interesting as he continues to fill out at UCF. Lazar on the other hand would come out in control early, retiring the first nine batters he faced.
