Another pitchers duel in Jacksonville Wednesday night, 2021 Jackson Baumeister got the start for Bolles and went against 2022 Finn Howell of St. Johns Country Day. Highly ranked Jackson Baumeister looked the part on Wednesday night striking out 8 batters through 5 innings pitched and only allowing 2 hits with no earned runs. Baumeister did a good job of attacking hitters with his fastball that was sitting 88-91 mph and topped at 92 mph with a spin rate of 2486 rpm. Showed an above average feel for a curveball that had a soft slurve action at 71-74 mph and a fading circle changeup that was 82-83 mph.
