Once you commit is your choice school set in stone or is baseball similar to football where players can de-commit? And how does that work?
There are two levels to this answer. First, is if you’re talking about a verbal commitment, before a National Letter of Intent is signed. A verbal commitment is just that—verbal. Nobody—not the NCAA, the school—recognizes a verbal commitment, which makes it non-binding. A player can verbally commit to one school and then sign an NLI to another during the early signing period.
