2024 Prep Baseball Minnesota Pitcher & Player of the Week: Week 6

Ben Snider LHP / OF / Prior Lake, MN / 2025

The uncommitted 2025 started the week with a no-hitter over the Farmington Tigers, our no. 2 ranked team. Snider went all seven, striking out eight, and allowing just two baserunners.

He added another six strikeouts to his weekly total in a 4.2 inning relief appearance against Shakopee.

Finn Furcht RHP / OF / Esko, MN / 2024

Finn Furcht has been an offensive jugernaut that is helping drive the Esko baseball into space. Speaking of space, the Iowa Western commit launched three balls into it, including two against Pequot Lakes this past Friday.

Part of the reason he had just four RBI is because no one is pitching to him (he had four walks and a hit-by-pitch as well) and the other part is because hitting right in front of him is teammate Isaak Sertich, who also had three home runs on the week.

Furcht also struck out 18 hitters in nine innings on the week.
