Missouri Draft Preview

The 2016 Major League Draft takes place June 9-11. In advance of the draft, Prep Baseball Report is posting a summary of each state in the coverage area with scouting reports on the top high school draft prospects.
After having a couple high school picks in the top 10 rounds in 2013-2014, the state of Missouri got shutout in 2015. It looks like that will happen again with LHP Erik Miller (DeSmet Jesuit HS, MO) sending a letter to scouts stating his desire to attend Stanford and RHP Tyler Benninghoff (Rockhurst HS, MO) only getting one inning on the mound because of an injury. Both will be high follows again in three years.
