Scouting Report: 6-foot-5, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with long, lanky frame. Uses above average arm speed through high-¾ arm slot. Displays long, projectable arm. Uses a slow tempo to his delivery. Fastball sits 83-86 mph with some arm-side run. Shows good command of a 71-73 mph breaking ball with sharp 11/5 action. Also featured a nice sharp slider at 75-77 mph. Arm speed has gotten better on his changeup since last year and shows good fade at 75-78 mph. Shows good composure on the mound and has a bulldog mentality, getting out of sticky situations on numerous occasions when I have watched him over the past year.
