ORLANDO, FL—Demi Orimoloye is putting it all together.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound outfielder has found a way to pair his exceptional athleticism with what he’s learned on the diamond and is continuing his climb up next year’s draft list because of it.

“He was an athlete who was learning to be a baseball player and now he’s becoming a baseball player,” Team Canada head coach Greg Hamilton said. “He’s turning his athletic abilities into playable baseball skills which is nice to see.

“He’s getting an understanding of how to play the game defensively…and he’s built a swing and approach where he’s able to incorporate exceptional athleticism into actual production as a hitter. When you’ve got that type of athleticism and it starts to become playable, you can do some pretty special things.”
