School: St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary
Evaluation: Davis is an outfielder who oozes athleticism and has elite level speed. His 60 times have been clocked as low as 6.45 and his home to first is an outstanding 3.82. At the plate, Davis has shown improvements with his swing and approach. His hands are in a good position, ready to hit with some looseness that work well to contact. He understands that he doesn’t need to hit the ball out of the park and let his speed take over. Looked like a different hitter this year at T12 compared to the year before. Showed the ability to bunt for a hit and took bags at will. Defensively, Cooper gets good reads and has the speed to get to balls most others have no chance at. Arm works and with good actions. An exciting player to watch, Davis is a high level athlete with a chance to be something special.
