He was one of the biggest players at the third-annual Tournament 12, and also one of the youngest.
At 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, 15-year-old Ben Abram is almost three years away from graduating high school, but the still-growing right-handed hurler fit right in with the big boys at the Blue Jays-hosted event in his two outings for the Futures team.
“Ben Abram has as much ability as anyone in this tournament,” one American League scout said.
