It tends to be the same story from the majority of the participants.
Tournament 12 is the best thing they’ve ever done. A trip to Rogers Centre, from near or far, to play on the same field the playoff-bound Blue Jays take every time they’re at home, to glean advice from former big leaguers and see how they match up against the rest of the best from around the country.
Max Wright (pictured right) is no exception. The 17-year-old catcher and Toronto native showed up for his second appearance at the Blue Jays-hosted showcase in September excited for more of what he had experienced last year, using what he learned during the time in between with his Great Lake Canadians squad and continuing to get better.
