Ontario Scouting Notes: 2017 Pitchers Update

This past weekend, the MLB Scouting Bureau made its annual stops in Ontario to see how some of the top talents in the province have progressed over the off-season. PBR Ontario was on hand and we give a quick look at some of the top performers.
We start with the 2017 class and some of the arms who stood out over the weekend.
Class of 2017 Arms
Landon Leach, RHP, Pickering HS
Athletic right-hander with size and strength. Leach sat 85-86 mph with his fastball while showing good feel for his changeup and breaking ball. Chance to be a power arm off the hill, change was 77 mph and breaking ball was 70-71 mph.
