In scouting the 2021 class for almost three years now, its depth continues to amaze me. Even with the loss of potential top-round picks, RHP Nick Bitsko, CIF Blaze Jordan, and RHP Alejandro Rosario, who reclassified to the 2020 class, this group still boasts premium talent throughout. And it doesn’t just come from the top. Last week, with the release of an updated and expanded 2021 Overall Ranking, I dove into the top 10 giving each a “Case for Number 1”. That article easily could have stretched through the top 20, and for that reason, I decided to dive into some of the prospects that could rise much higher who were featured outside the top 20.
