Six-foot-4, 220-pound left-hander with a fastball, changeup, curveball, slider repertoire. He will sit 89-91 and will touch 93 on occasion. His low-80s changeup is his best pitch and he’s able to throw it in any count. His curveball has 12/6 action and is thrown in the mid-70s. Last season Koelewyn fanned 23 hitters in 20 IP while allowing 16 hits; good for a 2.70 ERA. Thus far in 2021, he has yet to find his best stuff, but has limited opposing hitters to just a .250 batting average.
