Another Look at Key Players for this weekend's AHSAA Playoffs

As the weekend gets closer, let's continue our look at some key players playing this weekend:
Homewood HS
Homewood HS will host perennial state power Cullman HS this weekend and there are a few guys that the Patriots will lean on heavily.

Ben Teel 3B / RHP / Homewood, AL / 2018University of Montevallo signee, is a standout 2 way guy with a .380 BA, 14 2B's, 5 HR's and a school record 49 RBI's. On the mound, he carries a 7-2 record with a 1.77 ERA into this weekend's matchup. |

Justin Perreault RHP / Homewood, AL / 2019Has a 7-1 record, a 1.90 ERA in 53 ⅓ IP. He has only given up 41 hits to go along with 71 K's |

Joshua Hall OF / Homewood, AL / 2018Ole Miss signee, continues his torrid pace with a .500 BA, scoring 64 runs, 26 RBI's, 4 HR's and 78 SB's on the year. Earlier this season, Josh set the NFHS all time career steals record with 220 and also owns the single season state record with 81 SB's in 2016. |
Russellville HS
After winning Game 3 on Monday at Lee-Huntsville, the 3 time defending 5A state champion Russellville Golden Tigers will host Springville this weekend. One guy that has played an important role getting the Golden Tigers this far is 2019 RHP/SS Caden Parker. In the 3 game series with Lee- Huntsville, Caden was 4-10 scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 others. In the deciding Game 3 he went 6.0 IP on the mound, allowing 1 unearned run while striking out 8.
Auburn HS
Auburn HS is on the road at Theodore HS this week in 7A. The Tigers will rely on the following players as they head south.

Brooks Fuller LHP / Auburn, AL / 2018Auburn signee, is 6-2 on the year with a 1.11 ERA and only given up 7 earned runs. His K/BB walk rate is an impressive 46/14. Brooks also doubles as a two way guy and was 4-8 last week to go along with a complete game 1 hitter. |

Jackson Arnold RHP / Auburn, AL / 2019Georgia Tech commit, is 1-0 in 10 games (10 innings) with 3 saves, a 0.70 ERA and 15K's and only 4 BB's. He also has a .423 BA at the plate. His numbers are a little askew as he is coming off of a leg injury. |

Garrett Morris OF / Auburn, AL / 2018Penn football scholarship- may play baseball, has had an outstanding year at the plate. As the Tigers leadoff hitter, he has a .370 BA, 5 HR's, 28 RBI's and an OBP of .477. |
