6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Winn is one of the top pitchers in his age class in the country. Arm is flat out electric. In two innings of work struck out all 6 batters. Fastball was 90-91 mph, but he has touched 93 before. Has a wipeout slider with late depth at 76-77 mph. Solid change at same arm speed that lives at 81-82 mph. Winn over the last year has impressed many scouts across the country, and recently impressed at Jupiter playing for the Houston Astros Scout team where he struck out 8 in 3 innings. 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. The Notre Dame commit was really impressive at our Top Prospect Games on August 6th and 7th, and also showed very well in last June's Junior Sunbelt Tournament for Team Colorado. Since last rankings, Winn's fastball has improved from 87-88 to an explosive 92 mph on multiple occassions at the Top Prospect Games, living at 90-91. Arm is loose and works extremely well with rest of his body. With his body and frame he projects to plus 95 mph easily. Armed with a wipeout slider at 76 mph with depth. Expect Winn to move up in the overall rankings as well.
4-7-16
6-foot-1, 170 pounds. Winn has recently committed to Notre Dame. Winn is armed with a fastball that lives between 87-89 mph, and projects to increase when he puts on some more weight. Winn has come on the seen in 2016. When Winn learns to have more fastball command he's going to be even more of a force. He has currently pitched 16 innings and has 27 strikeouts on the season.
