2026 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely:
Gavin Berigan SS / 2B / Thousand Oaks High, CA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 191 / POS: 50
From 5/31/25: Positional Profile: SS/RHP MIF profile with speed; developing frame and tools on the rise. |
Cain Ebrahim 2B / RHP / Foothill Technology High, CA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 128 / POS: 4
From 3/6/25: “Just 14 years old and playing full time on varsity Ebrahim is not just competing, but succeeding against older competition with a present .438/.550/.563 to start his high school career. He uses his hands very well in the swing and shows a strong bat to ball profile and with room to project on his future impact at the plate when he learns to effectively use the lower ½ of his body and packs strength on a wiry athletic present frame. Cain picked up a knock, drew two BBs and lofted a high fly ball out to LF in four trips to the dish. His actions at 3B are interesting, but raw at present with feet that work well showing rhythm/range although his hands can be inconsistent at times while showing a solid present arm that should develop more strength as he matures. Still more on the raw overall side the potential for Ebrahim is interesting and will definitely be a name I’m keeping tabs on over the coming years.” |
Austin Maiden SS / 3B / Chaminade College Preparatory, CA / 2028 |
Colton Mellinger 3B / RHP / Agoura High School, CA / 2028Rankings StateRank: 86 / POS: 8
Mellinger is making his Prep Baseball event debut this weekend, and we're eager to see him in a showcase setting for the first time.

Quinn Melton C / 1B / San Marcos High, CA / 2028From 9/26/25: “Melton was another of the top ranked players in attendance from California and the impact profile LH hitter lived up to the hype of his profile during the workout. Quinn checked in with a strongly built frame that stands 5'11 and weighs 201.5 lbs. presently with room to keep adding as he matures. That strength in his frame shows up in the loud, hard contact he makes from the LH side (even his misses are loud off the bat) going up to 100.4 MPH on his max exit velocity with impressive distance to the contact he can generate (393' max distance was best of any player in attedance). Quinn literally stopped our staff working at other stations to turn around and watch him hit with the sound his contact was producing during batting practice. Melton produces impressive torque in his turn reaching 25.2 Gs while averaging 70 MPH of bat speed on all swings with 20.5 MPH hand speeds. While his offensive performance was well known coming into the event Melton has continued to improve as a defender behind the dish including reaching a new personal best of 1.99 seconds on his pop times with a 71 MPH catcher velocity.” |
Cruz Rodriguez C / 1B / Chaminade College Preparatory-High School, CA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 182 / POS: 23
From 10/19/25: “Rodriguez showed well on both sides of the ball, highlighted by his 79 mph arm velocity behind the dish with accurate throws and strong carry to 2B, posting 2.04-2.14 pop times during the workout. With some refinement to his glove-to-hand transfer and footwork, those numbers could take another step forward given his already notable arm strength. At the plate, Rodriguez recorded a max exit velocity of 96.4 mph and averaged 87.9 mph, showing a level, low line-drive swing with strength through contact and a projectable 5-11, 184-pound frame that carries present strength in the upper half. He also hopped on the mound, topping out at 84 mph and sitting 81-83 mph with his FB while mixing in a 68-70 mph CB that showed modest depth and vertical break. While Rodriguez’s long-term future is clearly behind the plate, his brief showing on the mound further emphasized his athleticism, arm talent, and overall versatility.” |
Alexander Scott OF / SS / Sierra Canyon School, CA / 2029From 5/20/25: “Scott catches your attention on first look with a long, lean 5-foot-10 147lb. frame that oozes projection. After posting a 7.15 60-yard laser timed run, Scott put up an event best 84 mph velocity from the outfield during the workout portion. In game he smoked a standup double in his first at-bat with a 4.89 time with a turn around first base. In his second at-bat he smoked a sharp line drive that appeared to have the centerfielder beat before he made a highlight type play for the out. It’s a simple yet aggressive swing that resulted in consistent barrels during batting practice and the game.” |
Pierce OBrien 1B / OF / Bishop Montgomery High, CA / 2028O'Brien is making his Prep Baseball event debut, and we're eager to get a look this weekend.
