As the JUCO season starts to wind down, we'll be highlighting several players from across the state's junior college programs that impressed at our scout days this fall and are having strong seasons for their respective clubs.

Today, we'll spotlight sophomore OF Ryker Harrington, who's a physical left-handed hitter inside this Vikings' lineup. At 6-foot, 215-pounds, Harrington slashed .300/.417/.521 across 140 at-bats for JeffCo and 39 starts. He homered six times and brought 29 runs across, with seven doubles and 40 runs scored.

At the Vikings' Scout Day in the fall, Harrington had a strong showing, blasting his furthest ball 347 feet with a peak exit velocity of 96.7 mph. He elevated the baseball with regularity, averaging 277 feet per batted ball, and he was consistently on the barrel, finding it on 90% of his swings, per TrackMan. Harrington did so from a fairly fast left-handed swing, posting bat speed (75.7 mph) and rotational acceleration (23.2 g) metrics that are well above average.
